Noida Authority is all set to go online. Starting Nov. 1, it will be mandatory for all Noida property owners, both individuals, and commercial, to register their property on its website. The move is being deemed as the authority’s effort to go paperless and facilitate online services.

From Nov. 1, an allottee or Noida property holder can upload a form along with his/her ID proof and a scanned copy of allotment/transfer letter on the website. The allottee will then get a KYA-UID number, which in turn will preserve all the details of the allottee’s property.

Individual allottees will require PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license or passport that can be scanned and uploaded for proof of identity. For organizations/institutions, proof of identity can be provided by the company’s PAN card, registrar of companies’ certificate (ROC) or GST registration certificate.

Apart from these documents, allottees have to upload a scanned copy of their allotment/transfer or mutation letter as well, while organizations can upload their Change in Constitution letter. A helpline number: 9818821433, will also be available in case the allottee faces any difficulty in the process of uploading the documents.

“With this move, Noida Authority will become paperless as allottees can track their property details and status online,” ET Realty quoted Rajesh Kumar Singh, the officer on special duty, Noida Authority, as saying. “Also, it will be a deterrent to fraudulent sale or purchase of property, as the owner will get an SMS alert on any change in details of his/her property.”

The officer also added that the process to initiate the digital authentication of an allotee/ owner’s property is also a step towards transparency.

Noida Authority’s move to go online is getting a mixed response. While some Noida residents have welcomed the move, some are skeptical about its proper implementation since residents are known to make many rounds to procure a simple water challan or other such documents from the authority.
