WeWork, the leading provider of flexible workspaces, continues to strengthen its presence in Bengaluru with the addition of more than 3,600 desks across three new office spaces. These strategic expansions, including the Princeville and Cherry Hills locations at the Embassy GolfLinks Business Park in Domplur, covering over 95,000 square feet, and the Prestige Tech Park Jupiter near Marathahalli, spanning about 125,000 square feet, further solidify WeWork’s commitment to serving the growing demand for flexible work environments.

With these latest additions, WeWork now operates more than 22 workspaces in Bengaluru, expanding its footprint by over 200,000 square feet. The company’s expansion plans also include the Outer Ring Road area in southern Bengaluru, in addition to the recently opened Kalyani Roshni facility. The substantial pre-commitment of nearly 60 percent of the new inventory reflects the strong demand for WeWork’s brand and its flexible workspace solutions.

Arnav S. Gusain, the head of real estate and product at WeWork India, expressed excitement about expanding their presence in Bengaluru, emphasizing the city’s importance as a key market. Gusain also stated their belief in the continued growth of demand for flexible workspaces, highlighting their commitment to expanding their portfolio across the country to meet this demand.

According to a report by real estate consulting firm Anarock, co-working spaces experienced a net absorption of 8.2 million square feet across the top seven cities in the first quarter of this year. Bengaluru and Delhi NCR accounted for 66 percent of this net co-working absorption, driven by the demand from IT/ITeS-dominated cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune. The low vacancy levels in Grade A offices in these cities have further fueled the demand for flexible workspaces, creating a favorable market for WeWork’s expansions.

WeWork’s continued growth in Bengaluru signifies its commitment to providing professionals and businesses with modern, collaborative, and adaptable workspaces. With its expanding footprint and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, WeWork remains at the forefront of the evolving work environment, catering to the changing needs of the workforce in Bengaluru and across the country.
