Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has introduced an enticing opportunity for prospective homeowners, offering 1,184 residential plots spread across three sectors along the expressway. As reported by officials, the last date to submit applications for this scheme is September 1, while the allocation of plots will be determined through a fortunate draw scheduled for October 18, 2023.
Initiating the scheme on August 8, YEIDA witnessed an enthusiastic response, with over 1,100 individuals registering within the first few hours. “We are receiving favorable responses to the scheme. On August 8 alone, more than 250 application forms were sold, and the registrations have crossed 1,100 as of yesterday. The application window remains open until September 1,” shared a YEIDA representative in conversation with Money Control.
The upcoming housing draw, set to transpire on October 18, 2023, will ascertain the allocation of plots through a random draw.
The array of more than 1,000 plots is distributed across sectors 16, 17, and 20, strategically positioned in close proximity to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, the proposed Film City, and the forthcoming Noida International Airport.
Offering diversity in size, the plots are available in seven dimensions: 120 square meters (sqm), 162 sqm, 200 sqm, 300 sqm, 500 sqm, 1000 sqm, and 2000 sqm. The breakdown includes 194 plots in the 120 sqm category, 260 plots in the 162 sqm category, and a maximum of 466 plots in the 200 sqm category.
Additionally, 208 plots fall under the 300 sqm category, followed by 24 plots in the 500 sqm size category. There is a limited offering of 13 plots in the 1000 sqm category, with 19 plots available in the 2000 sqm category, according to details outlined in the scheme document. The cost per square meter for these vacant plots is set at Rs 24,600, as stipulated in the scheme document.
