The Greater Noida Authority has undertaken proactive measures to address the persistent disputes arising in the approximately 200 societies in Greater Noida, where conflicts often emerge between residents and builder or apartment owner associations. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive resolution framework, a dedicated nine-member committee has been established.
Charged with the responsibility of tackling multifaceted issues, the committee is poised to address concerns such as the non-issuance of no objection certificates (NOCs) for the transfer memorandum, the establishment of Apartment Owners Associations (AOA) within societies, and the seamless transfer of Interest-Free Maintenance Charge (IFMS) funds.
The committee, set to convene on November 21, December 12, and January 3 of the ensuing year, will be spearheaded by ACEO Saumya Srivastava. Comprising key stakeholders, including the OSD of the Builders department, general managers in planning, project, and finance, in-charge legal, the manager of the builders’ department, and two members nominated from CREDAI, the committee is strategically assembled to bring diverse expertise to the table.
This comprehensive initiative aims to expedite the resolution process for builders-buyers issues. By providing an inclusive platform for the presentation of complaints from flat buyers and residents, the committee ensures a fair and transparent adjudication of disputes. Addressing concerns related to NOCs, AOA formation, and IFMS fund transfers, the Greater Noida Authority aims to foster an environment of enhanced transparency and harmonious coexistence within housing complexes. This undertaking seeks to strengthen the relationship between residents and representatives of builder or apartment owner associations, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being of the Greater Noida community.
