Bids Invited for Development of Railway Land In Delhi

    Delhi, September 2024:
    Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority of Indian Railways, has invited bids for the Residential Development of Railway Land Parcel ‘B’ near Punjabi Bagh (West), Delhi under the Delhi Division of Northern Railway.

    The approximate area of Land Parcel ‘B is 46,313.39 Sqm (4.63 Ha) and has a reserve price of Rs. 1100 crore. The land parcel will be leased for 99 years. The maximum permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) is 200 on the gross area of this land parcel.

    • The site enjoys excellent connectivity from Old Rohtak Road (NH 9) and boasts a prominent frontage along this major highway. Additionally, it is accessible via Ring Road, further enhancing its strategic position. The site is located within close proximity to key metro stations, ensuring easy accessibility. The site is just 350 m from Madipur Metro Station & 800 m from Shivaji Park metro station, providing excellent public transport connectivity.

    • The site is located in North-West Delhi near Punjabi Bagh (West) and falls within the limits of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. It is part of Delhi Suburban Railway network and offers significant potential for both commercial and residential development due to its advantageous frontage and accessibility.
    • Situated in a densely populated and commercially active area of West Delhi, the site benefits from its proximity to major commercial hubs. The road passing through the site is positioned below the DMRC Green Line, which connects Punjabi Bagh (West) with Madipur Station. Moreover, significant commercial areas are located within a 5-kilometer radius, making the site highly attractive for development.
