Following Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 US elections, India is set to become the largest global hub for Trump Towers outside the United States. Tribeca Developers, the licensed partner for Trump Organization in India, has finalized six new deals across major cities, including Pune, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
These projects, totaling 8 million square feet, are expected to generate a sale potential of over ₹15,000 crore, as published by the Hindustan Times.
Currently, India ranks second, after the US, in the number of Trump-branded developments, with four Trump Towers spanning 3 million square feet. With the new additions, India will further solidify its position as the leader in Trump-branded projects globally.
Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, shared with HT.com that the new deals mark an expansion into three new cities: Noida, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The company also plans to add repeat developments in Pune, Mumbai, and Gurugram. “India will soon have the highest number of Trump Towers globally, after the US,” Mehta said.
Tribeca aims to continue enhancing the luxury real estate landscape, with the goal of creating “trophy properties.” Mehta emphasized that the new projects have been meticulously selected, and the company is committed to pushing the boundaries of luxury real estate in India.
The upcoming developments include a mix of full-stack and development management models. Some will feature local developers and landowners as partners. Mehta also confirmed that at least four of the new projects will be announced by early December.
Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are scheduled to visit India in the first half of 2025 to launch the new Trump Tower projects.
Tribeca will also expand on its successful Trump Tower projects by adding second properties in Gurugram, Pune, and Mumbai. In cities with existing Trump Towers, these new developments may be branded as Trump World Towers.
For the first time, Trump-branded office spaces will be introduced in India, with a major office project planned for Pune. This will be the first of its kind in the country and is expected to be announced in December, with a launch slated for the first half of 2025.
Among the new projects is a Trump-branded golf and villa development, marking a significant shift toward diversified offerings.
To date, Tribeca Developers has brought four Trump properties to India, partnering with major developers like Lodha for the Mumbai Trump Tower, Panchshil Realty for Pune, M3M for Gurugram, and Unimark for Kolkata. The buyers of these luxury units include high-net-worth individuals and celebrities, with a significant portion of sales to non-resident Indians (NRIs).
