NBCC Sells Commercial Space Worth Rs 1,905 Cr at World Trade Centre, Delhi

    NBCC (India) Ltd, a government-owned construction company, has sold 4.8 lakh square feet of commercial space at the World Trade Centre (WTC) in Delhi for approximately Rs 1,905 crore.

    The sale took place in the 25th e-auction, with major entities like Power Finance Corporation Limited, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited, and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited purchasing space.

    Out of the total area sold, around 4.38 lakh square feet, valued at approximately Rs 1,740 crore, was bought by PSU entities. There were five successful bidders, including three PSUs and two private entities.

    So far, NBCC has sold over 30 lakh square feet of commercial inventory through 25 e-auctions, totaling over Rs 12,100 crore. The project is nearly complete, with more than 94 percent physical progress achieved.

    The World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar is being developed as a commercial center, replacing 628 old and dilapidated quarters. It spans approximately 34 lakh square feet and is strategically located near major establishments, recreational areas, and transportation hubs like the Ring Road, metro stations, airports, and AIIMS.
