In a remarkable turn of events, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is gearing up to introduce an additional 2,000 residential plots, building on the resounding success of its recent housing scheme. The previous scheme, which held a draw for 1,184 residential plots across three sectors on October 18, garnered an overwhelming response, with a staggering 1.4 lakh applicants vying for plots situated in YEIDA sectors 16, 17, and 20, all along the picturesque Yamuna Expressway.
Buoyed by this unprecedented demand and in response to the citizens’ interest in owning residential plots close to the upcoming Noida International Airport, YEIDA plans to launch a similar residential scheme in January-February 2024. Although the specific sectors for these upcoming plots have yet to be finalized, they will be strategically located in proximity to the airport, offering a promising real estate opportunity.
Arun Vir Singh, the Chief Executive Officer of YEIDA, attributed the success of the previous scheme to the public’s enthusiasm for residential plots. He emphasized the citizens’ desire to build their homes near the forthcoming Jewar airport, and in response, preparations have already begun for the next residential scheme, slated for early 2024.
The previous residential plot scheme, held on October 18, drew widespread interest and participation, underscoring the public’s eagerness for such opportunities. However, the acquisition of land for the upcoming scheme is yet to be completed. An authority official revealed that the land department has been tasked with acquiring the necessary land, and once the authority secures the land, a new housing scheme will be launched.
The land acquisition process is expected to conclude by the end of December, making the land available by January 2024. As a result, the Yamuna Expressway Authority anticipates rolling out the new residential plots in January 2024, offering a fresh chance for individuals to secure their dream homes in close proximity to the thriving Yamuna Expressway.
