The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will create five industrial parks near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. These parks will include an EV Park and will cover around 600 acres of land in YEIDA Sector 10, connected by the Yamuna Expressway linking Greater Noida, Mathura, and Agra.
The five parks near Noida International Airport will focus on electric vehicles, plastic processing, footwear, handicrafts, and a transport hub. Around 600 acres of agricultural land will be needed for this development in Sector 10, and the state government has instructed the Gautam Budh Nagar administration to begin the land acquisition process.
Sector 10 has been designated in the master plan for industrial parks, serving as an exclusive hub near Jewar airport. The proposed EV Park in Sector 10 will likely host companies manufacturing electric vehicles and parts.
The land acquisition process has begun, with the Uttar Pradesh government authorizing the Gautam Budh Nagar administration to expedite it. The Authority needs 600 acres in total for Sector 10, with a social impact assessment study already completed by Gautam Buddha University.
Public input will be sought under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013. The public is advised not to buy or sell the notified land without permission. Once all formalities are done, land compensation will be distributed, and the acquired land handed over to the Authority.
YEIDA aims to start allocating land for industrial parks in 2024 after developing necessary amenities.
